I am planning on taking the SATs for the first time as a senior in October. I have the whole summer to study and I am wondering which prep books are the best. I am planning on buying the College Board Blue Book because I heard how great it is, and I also bought the "12 Practice Tests for the SATs" by Kaplan. What other books should I get? I need particular help in math.

If you are getting the blue book and kaplan’s, that should be enough for practice tests. Have you taken any practice tests yet becuase posting your score would give us a better sense of what you need to work on. Anyways, I would also recommend direct hits and barron’s cr workbook if you have trouble with the critical reading section, barron’s writing workbook if you have trouble with the W section (also use http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/sat-preparation/645763-how-write-12-essay-just-10-days.html for the essay) and gruber’s sat guide for your weakness in math. However, doing enough practice problems in math will increase your score to a high degree.
