sat prep help please!!!!!!

Hey guys im a junior and taking sat 2 in may and 2 ap's. I have so much work and i want to do well so im gonna end up taking the sat in october. I really want to break 2100 and im not doing well. Im getting like low 600 on everything and im willing to work extremely hard because i really want to go to a good school. If you have any advice how to accomplish this goal id really appriciate it, thanks.

alright. i've been where you were. you just need guidance. READING about how to succeed is great. Its a good step. But don't get caught up in this phase. We all know you have to WORK to succeed, to accomplish goals. So.... start. Start doing. Keep asking and reading, informing yourself. But you have to do it. Now. Go read XIGGI's Method thread, and you'll know what to do (cough, BLUE BOOK all the way)

I agree with the above poster, start working immediately. There is a very simple process to get 700 on each section, but such words carry hours and days of studying.

Critical Reading-Learn thousands of words. You NEED to know these words. Get 8/19 Sentence Completions wrong and you don't get your 700, and those 8 can be easily missed because of their difficulty. For passages, just keep taking practice tests. After a certain amount, depending on how hard you work, you'll start to become familiar with passages. Just make your reading skills better. Again, easier than said. If you get all sentence completions right and 3 passage questions wrong per section, you won't get a 700! It's that hard, so you need to make sure you can get all sentence completions for sure. Also, the thousands of words that you learn are found commonly in passages, so those words will be useful there.

Math-read RocketReview to avoid careless mistakes. Take tons of practice tests NOT to learn concepts, rather see how you test and the errors you make.

Don't stress over writing, period. Colleges don't even look at it, and you need to focus more on CR and Math.
