hi, i am from india and am going to give my SAT I on june 2.i have the following books :

the official guide to SAT(blue book)
the princeton review-cracking the SAT
kaplan 12 practice tests

i have been solving from all the above books, but can anyone tell which book should i conc most, since i got some little time left.besides can anyone give some good tips for scoring really good on the SAT I.thanks

Princeton Review books are awesome. If you have time to take a class, either online or in a classroom, or private tutoring, that always helps too.

Take all the practice tests you can--but focus primarily on your weakpoints.

For math:
--if you don't know the answer, plug in!!

For verbal:
--read the entire passage first, and highlight important lines from the passage. Don't be afraid to read the passage several times if you need help getting the meaning.

For writing:
--study the very simple basics of grammar--subject-verb agreement, comma splices, run-on sentences, etc.

thanks buddy,
i do have the princeton review book(cracking the SAT w DVD),so i kinda got a bit of grip of how they teach.but the class of princeton review is kinda away from the place ,i live and i don't have that much time.i do have completed the 3 tests that came with it and going to do the online ones.but i am confused abt the blue book tests and kaplan test.which book shoud i conc more

Kaplan is horrible, don't bother with it. Its tests are inaccurate and usually either way too easy or too hard.

The blue book, of course, since it is from Collegeboard itself, has excellent sample multiple choice and sample SAT I exams. DO THE BLUE BOOK TESTS!!

The PR book is awesome. Definitely use that and College Board's tests. If you need more practice tests, get PR's 11 Practice tests book. Their tests are closest to the real thing.
