SAT Prep

Ya, I was wondering if SAT prep acctually works??? I know it depends on the person, but can you still tell me if it effected your scores?? Thank you in advanced!

elite boot camp

hell yea.

Self study with books discussed here, eventually time yourself, and examine closely every error you make. Take a class only if you can't comprehend the strategies in the book. Study vocab. And yes, by doing this, I went up nearly 300 points from my sophomore psat, and still counting!

I'm sure it definitely works. I didn't take the prep classes because I wanted to have afterschool time to study and such to make sure my junior year grades were much better then sophomore year. Unfortunetly 1st quarter I was lazy already and then took the PSATs while all my friends took the prep classes. They all scored in the 1650-1900 range while I got a 1450! >.<!

Then again, believe it or not, not eating a big enough breakfast played a huge part in that. I was starving after the first half hour and couldn't concentrate on math questions because I was preventing my stomach from echoeing (sp?) through the entire silent classroom. But still! Prep classes!

You have a ton to pick from....books, classes, boot-camp type classes, online prep, etc. I personally used smartdoodle.com and it helped me out a lot.

But they all require time, so don't expect any miracles with just a few days' work.
