Does Santa Clara use the SAT writing score in its admissions decision process? Also do they super score from more than one SAT sitting?

The following statements come directly from the SCU Admissions website:

• Santa Clara University will accept either the SAT or the SAT Critical Reasoning Test. The ACT may be taken in lieu of or addition to the SAT. The ACT writing assessment is optional.

• The highest verbal and the highest math scores attained on the SAT, even if taken on different test dates, will be used.

It looks like writing scores are not used during the admissions process, and superscoring is done when multiple test sittings are reported.

Thank you :)
