Did anyone do much better on the SAT Literature Subject test than they did on the SAT I Reading section? And how similar are they? I'm asking because my highest on the reading section is around 650, and I'm wanting to get a 750. How hard would that be?

I got a 65 on my PSAT Critical Reading and a 720 on my SAT Critical Reading. I got a 670 on the Lit SAT II the first time (I’m going to retake it). For me, the Lit SAT II was much harder just because I’m not a natural at analyzing, especially poetry. The Lit SAT II includes drama and poetry besides more normal CR stuff. But it really depends on how naturally good you are at Lit. There are some things you can study (like terms), but it’s good if you have a good foundation to start out with. I’m sure some people have done better at Literature.

Does anyone know where to study this for free? I really don’t want to have to spend any additional money since I’m just taking this one test.

[SparkNotes: Today’s Most Popular Study Guides](http://www.sparknotes.com) /cheers
they got prep book for SAT I, SAT II subject tests and summaries of some literature books.

I did not see an SAT Literature subject test section on the SparkNotes website. And it’s my understanding that they don’t ask you questions from specific books, right? Instead they ask you questions about the passages they give you. Or maybe I’m just getting mixed up.
