SAT retakes as a senior?

Hi everyone. I took the SAT this past March and scored quite low (1740), I'm studying a lot and planning to take it again this June. I was thinking of applying to universities this summer, can I do that? I also would like to retake the SAT the first available time during my senior year...can I send that in to the universities even though I applied during the summer?

Just confused on how it all works and when I should apply and if it even matters taking my SAT during senior year.

Thank a lot :)

Wondering about this too. If I apply August 1st, can I still take the October 1st SAT or is too late?

The October scores will be in for EA/ ED applications and the December ones for regular admission. Additionally, an EA/ ED application which is deferred to RD will have the December score added to the file if you choose to re-take it. At least that’s what we have heard.
