SAT review books

Hi, I bought the Kaplan SAT book today and read online that it sucks. Can someone please tell me why is sucks, because I actually really liked its physical appearance(: If you agree that the Kaplan book sucks, then what would you recommend?

BTW: I have my brother's old Princeton review and The official SAT Guide already (blue book) but is already written in. Is it worth the money to get another one of either those books or should i get a different one?

Also, what is a good ACT practice book? I bought the Real Act Prep Guide. Is there a better one out there?

Well, I have Kaplan’s 12 practice test book, and I can tell you that it gives false hope because the questions are easier than they should be. Stay with the blue book, unless you’re just starting out and could use the practice from Kaplan.
