I am a immigrant and a senior in high school. I just started my first day of senior year and I got three AP classes, one of them is AP English which is challenge for me. I don't know if i should drop the AP English language class and spent more time on my SAT test or just take the class.
Please give me some advice, I am really confused.

Admissions officers see 5 general things on your app: GPA, SAT/SAT II/APs, ECs/Community Services/Internships, Recs, Essays
If I were you, I’d try my best to do well at both, even if that means struggling without sleep, getting tutors, and staying after class to ask the teacher for help. However, I understand it is difficult. I’d say the GPA is the most important, followed by the SAT I, followed by 2 SAT IIs and then AP scores. In that case, if you really are struggling, drop that class and keep your GPA up and study for the SAT I and IIs

Unless you’re applying to test-optional schools, your SAT/ACT (along with your GPA) is the most important part of your application. Does that mean you’ll get rejected by every good school if you do poorly on your SAT? No, it doesn’t. But if your SAT score is much lower than a school’s average, your application might be dismissed before adcoms even look at the rest of your application.
