Hi I️ applied ED to Tulane and my application was marked complete on Oct 27. I️ submitted my highest SAT score at the time (1300 superscored) but I️ recently took the SAT again on Nov 4 and I’m expecting at least a 50 to 100 point increase. Obviously a score increase like that will increase my likelihood of getting a higher merit scholarship and increase my chances of getting into the school in general. So the question is besides having my new score sent expedited should I️ also email admissions to inform them of this score increase in case they have already reviewed my application. I️ just want the best chance possible of getting in and maybe getting some merit scholarship.
@cat2022 - Congratulations on increasing your SAT score. Although the admission counselor will see that a new score was submitted, it never hurts to email them (or the admissions office) to let them know you sent the higher test scores! Tulane is usually very good about updating your application in these situations but it is still good to ensure these new scores were received by your admission counselor and are added to your application.
