I didn’t realize until today when I got rejected from a college that my SAT test scores never sent, I’m digging around for my previous receipt and ordered more score sends, and am in the process of contacting each college individually, but does this mean I’ll have to appeal for the colleges that require SAT scores since it’s already so far past the deadline?
Your schools should be one of two types: those that allow self-reporting of scores (via the application, GC, or screenshot), and those that require official score sends from CollegeBoard.
If the school needs official score sends, and you didn’t send them, your portal should show that your application is not complete.
Your send/order history is in your CollegeBoard account, so no need to ‘dig around for previous receipts’.
I would call any school that needs an official score report, and see if they would even accept one now…before you spend the money.
Good luck.
If you have been rejected then most likely you need to file an appeal. Contact each school to determine how and when these appeals are due.
Which schools did you apply? Checking your student portal for application completion is important and should have been done several months ago.
