SAT score update & Scholarships

When I apply to Temple, I will provide them with my SAT I scores. It was my first SAT exam which took place this month.

As it was my first SAT, I might not get 1400 in Critical Reading+Maths. :-/ But if I get selected to attend Temple University, can I update them with my next SAT score which I am going to take on the following December?

And if I get 1400+ in critical reading+maths, will I still be considered for the presidential scholarship? Or I have to submit my scores at the first place to be eligible for this scholarship?

Help please!

check what the scholarship amount is because i think it is now 1420 for the top scholarship. And call Temple admissions on the rest of your questions. I think the answer is yes but best to confirm that info with them directly. for more complex questions, such as yours, you may be put on hold for awhile but your call will be transferred to someone more knowledgable in the admissions office who can answer those questions. and to clarify my thoughts, as long as you submit proof of a 1420 SAT to Temple by Jan 15th, i think you get the top scholarship, assuming u also meet the GPA requirments. and i think they superscore so you can use the math test from your recent SAT and the CR from your December SAT if the Dec CR score is higher. and yes, i think you are allowed to send in updated test scores and ask for a higher scholarship amount. but please, call Temple directly! and find out for sure.
