Soo turns out many tests did not score correctly(some machines were broken) and so they are in the process of being re-scored, after which they will be published again.
Wow, this is all just incredible. These poor kids, as if they didn’t have enough stress already. We still don’t have my son’s scores, and I haven’t found anyone from his test site who has gotten theirs. I do have someone at the College Board who is now investigating what is going on, so hopefully we’ll hear something relatively soon. This is all really surprising though. My older son took the ACT and all went flawlessly.
Seriously? Do you think anyone who got their scores recovered are safe?
@Calboys: Hope your son has his score soon! I feel worried. They even messed up my daughter’s AP much earlier.
@calboys that stinks! We didn’t get ours until about 7pm Friday night and that was stressful enough for me! D is taking the ACT this weekend, so maybe she’ll blow it out of the water and I won’t have to deal with another SAT! Good luck to you!
Thanks all. It’s been tough and still no scores. I read on another message board that the test site told one test taker that they had issues printing the paperwork that they needed to submit the answer sheets. Just as long as they didn’t lose the answer sheets and we’ll all get our scores soon! It was an extremely poorly run test site to begin with but we never imagined there would be issues like this.
My son took test 12/1/18. The score was showing till end of Sept. It’s missing when checked back this week. He needs to complete his application NOW to secure a spot for his dorm. heck!
10/16 ================
Called many times, still no scores.
10/8 Missing scores reported, was told it’d take 5-7 bus days.
10/9 checked back 10/9, was told escalated, take 3-4 bus days.
10/16 I was told to expect a response 10/17 after 7 bus days. I asked what precisely time. He said soon. what time is soon? then he mentioned registration number was not in the system!! Asked screenshot, lucky I have it and sent in email. That’s scary.
Learned a case manager was coordinating with IT, data loading, activity summary depts. This will take time. No supervisors to talk to.
Son was blocked by this for National Merit app and others. Hopefully nowt ED.
Collegeboard, you failed you test!
Did anyone get back the same scores they first saw? I too lost my scores, and I’m terrified because I have deadlines to meet!
Similar—my 9th grader took the PSAT at the HS along with 500 other students. Scores did not come. College Board “searched” and even “escalated” an investigation. School blamed College Board; College Board blamed school. No other students missing theirs from our HS. …One year later, student takes PSAT in 10th grade, and VOÍLA, both sets of scores show up online and come in the mail together.
