I just took the October SAT, but I’m not sure whether my score will be good for some of the schools I am applying to. So I decided to wait until I receive it on October 27th, and depending on it, apply or not to competitive schools during the Early Action round. If my score is not satisfying, I will take the December SAT and apply RD to all unis instead.
But will waiting until I see my score and then, if good, sending it to my EA schools hurt my chances of admission? They accept scores from the November SAT, so there’s no reason to refuse mine, but I was wondering if getting my score after that of many other applicants and reviewing my app about one month after the deadline will be a disadvantage. If yes, I will not take the risk, and apply RD no matter how good my score so that I am evaluated at the same time as others.
