I’m applying to transfer to Yale and I was wondering about sending SAT scores…the admissions page says that all transfers must send either an SAT or ACT but says nothing about having to send the scores from every test date. When I tried to send my scores from the College Board, it said that Yale requires that all scores be sent. I was wondering if this is only a first-year admissions policy or if it applies for transfer applicants as well? I was hoping to only send scores from one sitting, but obviously a policy is a policy…any idea?
All transfer students must send all SAT scores from all of their test dates OR send all their ACT scores from all their test dates. Its the same as student’s applying for freshman application, there isn’t a difference in policy.
Well there goes my 0.0001% change of getting in, haha. Thanks for answering!
They regard the test scores in a generally charitable way. Anyone, literally anyone, can have a bad morning on a Saturday.
My son was admited in the regular round and sent his 3 SAT scores. His last sitting was over 300 pts more from the 1st one. Good luck!
I have one bad sitting, one decent sitting, and one very high sitting. Hoping they mostly consider the very high one.
I’m assuming it’s the same policy for SAT IIs? I have two 600s and two 700s.
Well not like you could change anything, so just let it be. I’d rather focus on the essays!
