Aquamarinee: No matter what your SAT or ACT score, no matter what your GPA and no matter what college you attend, there is only so far a college degree will take you. True....it might get you in the door of that dream company you want to work for but it won't keep you there. In today's world of downsizing and job eliminations, it is vitally important that young people not only have a good solid education but also common sense and a desire to work hard and long. They need to be able to talk to all different kinds of people and more importantly they need to be resilient in case that dream job turns out to be a nightmare or even worse, one of the CEO's gets greedy and funnels some of those company funds to their own personal account. You are much more than just where you went to college and everyone is not Ivy League bound or bred and that is not a bad thing. Some of the most successful people I know attended a third tier college or no college but they learned at a young age that if they took the time to discover what they are good at and where their passion was and went in that direction, they couldn't help but become successful personally and financially, almost as an afterthought.
