SAT Scores late -- HELP

Hey, so I just sent in my October SAT scores to UT-Austin. The deadline for UT is Dec. 1, but they say they accept the December SAT which obviously couldn't arrive by the application deadline. I expect my scores to arrive around mid-month (unless of course the college board sends them electronically, but that isn't the case, right?) will this be a problem? Is the exception for december scores only? I've read that some schools are understanding if supplemental materials like test scores arrive late as long the application is in by the deadline.

Help please!

Oh and if it helps, I'm top 8% so I am an auto-admit, but a provision of that is getting all the stuff in.

Thanks

Eh, i read on their site that exceptions are for december sats only. How strict is Austin about late materials? There has to be some leeway right? Some things are beyond our control…

ACT transmits electronically but I am not sure SAT does but I would think yes.

this happened to me last year. my SAT scores got sent to UT late. it was partially my fault/collegeboard’s fault. my other SAT scores go to the other schools i applied to very quickly, but for some reason it took collegeboard longer to send them to UT. unfortunately, i found out that all forms must be received IN HOUSE by the deadline, NOT postmarked. i ended up having to go to my second choice school but HOPEFULLY will be transferring in to UT next fall.

best of luck though.

So my SATs definitely got there late judging by status check but I was still accepted into College of Communications pre-journalism, so while I would recommend better planning than I did, it looks like it is probably okay if they’re a little late.
