I’m checking the Stanford application portal and the receipt of my SAT scores have not been confirmed to have been received based on the dates next to the “SAT” section on the portal. The date listed is the date I sent my old SAT score to them (months ago) but not the new ones. According to the College Board SAT site, the scores have been “sent” as of almost 2 full weeks ago. Should I still be concerned, or is it more likely that the AO can see the scores and the portal isn’t updated? I self reported scores on Common App but the undergraduate admission office stated that they do not want anyone to call or email them about the receipt of any materials.
You may want to contact Stanford to determine if it has received the scores. If it is typical of many other universities, you are never going to see receipt of your latest SAT scores in your online application. That is because the online file is designed only to show that a test requirement has been met and not to show latest scores or how many tests you have sent. Since you already previously provided an SAT test which is shown in your online account, your account is already showing completion of the test requirement and may not change at all upon receipt of your latest tests.
same thing with me at binghamton
i did receive a letter from the college board saying scores would be delayed; colleges are aware of this.
This has happened to many people. According to CB it should take a few days for your portal to reflect the accurate status of your scores. What an amazing year for CB.
Yeah and now I’m reading that the dates on people’s accounts are changing for the score reports. That’s ridiculous. It’s bad enough that they delay scores, but to lie about it too is unacceptable. And unfortunately, we have no choice but to accept it.
