I sent my SAT scores to NYU back in OCTOBER!!! through the College Board (I even have my email receipt that has NYU on it.) All my other schools received my scores, but NYU never did and today I got an email saying my application was incomplete. I called moments ago and the lady still didn’t see it and she said she wanted my school to send my scores (annoyed about what a hassle this is when it shouldn’t.) I’m wondering if anyone else has had this problem with NYU? Or what else I should do about it? I’m not even sure my school has my SAT scores or if I should just pay the $12 to submit again. Am I missing something here??? For being such a big and well-known school, this shouldn’t be a problem.
Hi,
The most important thing is not to freak out. I applied ED2 and this happened to me with my ACT score. I would call College Board and see if they will send them again and also have them give you the cycle number it was sent in. Next, contact your college counselor and see if they have a copy to directly send to NYU docs. If that isn’t an option, then go back to College Board and explain to them the situation. They should be able to send them again, but just make sure once they send them again to call to ensure NYU receives them within a couple of days or so.
