Hey I was wondering if its possible to submit SAT scores to some colleges and ACT scores to other colleges? For example I want to submit my ACT score to Northwestern but my SAT scores are below its averages so I don't want to submit the SAT scores there. On the other hand, for many of my other colleges on my list my SAT scores are average or a little above and I would want to submit all scores to those schools. Does the common app only let you pick test scores that are then sent to all colleges or is their more of an option to pick tests to send to certain schools.

They look at the higher of the two scores anyway so it doesn’t matter.

If the school does not require all scores, you can send in whichever one your want. However, the admission stat with the two test scores usually lined up very well. I would be surprised to see any major difference that you would need to send ACT to some schools and SAT to others. On the CommonApp, you only need to self report the test scores. It is up to you to submit the test scores to the schools directly.
