What is the average SAT Score for such a top Ivy league/ACT

2250? maybe 2300?

Harvard SAT score (25/75 percentile): 2080-2370

what? only 2080? I always thought people who get accepted are all like 2300+

yeah, me too. That low?

Yup, the 25th SAT percentile at Harvard is a 2080. You didn’t read that incorrectly. However, bear in mind that this statistic is usually skewed due to the hooked applicants that Harvard admits every year, who don’t necessarily have really high stats (e.g. recruited athletes, URM’s, developmental legacies).

according to that number:
25 percent of the admitted applicants have a score lower than 2080 while
75 percent of the admitted applicants have a score higher than 2080…

we cant really estimate mean SAT scores… i wish though that harvard would release the mean, median, and mode of the SAT scores of accepted applicants. with that said though, SAT scores are not everything…
