SAT Scoring Question

Hello! I recently got my scores for the December 4 SAT. I am very happy with my math score (780), but was a little confused about how the score was reached. My score report indicates that I only got one question incorrect, and no questions were omitted. Is this really equivalent to 20 points off?

Any input is appreciated. Thanks!

It is pretty normal score. Sometimes, if the questions are not too hard, one question can take you down from 800 to 780.

Yup, the curve can be harsh sometimes. Back in June, I omitted none and only got 2 wrong. I ended up with a 740!

The Math concepts are extremely basic. That is why the curves are so harsh.

Yes, the curve is harsh when the math is easy. I made 2 dumb mistakes :(ughhhhh
