Read the questions before you read the passage and take notes while you read. Make sure when you choose an answer, you can point to direct evidence in the passage that supports that choice.

just practice hard. at first i used to get both the question wrong. then after about 5, it clicked and i got 1 of 2 right. the next day, no one could stop me from acing them. from personal exp. just by doing lots fo practice in the BB, i aced all the short passage questions for the first threee practice test in all the sections. use whatever u are right now, i personally like to read then do questioins.=)

Try and see if reading the passages or reading the questions first works better for you- if your current strategy isn’t working out, try the other! I personally read the questions first but it’s different for different people.

Also, carefully re-read the parts of the passage to which the questions refer. Depending on your reading speed, you may be able to re-read the whole passage, but be aware of time.

I think it depends on your preference. For short passages, I prefer to read the passage first because normally since there short its much easier to retain the information than a long passage. I feel that reading the question first in a short passage you often get very hooked on details that you miss the general points. For long passages, however, I do read the questions first, but I think this is all a preference.
