I don’t know if this works for everyone but I usually read about two paragraphs at a time then go on to answer questions from those paragraphs (for the long passages). For the long paired passages, I read the ENTIRE first passage, answer the questions for that passage before I read the second passage. The short passages are easier to read all at once and of course you should know your vocabulary words (you could make a list of new words and their meanings) and TRY to develop an interest in any passage you read no matter how boring it may seem.

Read the blurb at the top, very helpful.

Skim the articles.

Go through the questions, leaving the ones about general idea or implications for last. go for questions such as what does this word mean.

Remember to underline the article.

Answer the main idea question.

Eat a cake.

What MaR00n said. It makes it way easier to focus!

read the questions first and then the passage. It lets you focus more and think about what you have to look for

Thx a lot everyone for your tips!

What I did were:

 1. Read the 1st paragraph before I do anything.
 2. I go straight to the questions that contain the specific line.
 3. I read above and below the specific line given.
 4. NEVER read the passage first!!
 5. Take a few second to think about the function of the specific line sentence. For ex, what does it do? What idea is the author trying to explain?
 6. The answers will always contain wrong choices, but when you are stuck with only 2 choices, choose the one that has the most similar wording from the passage.
