SAT Study Suggestions? Please!!!

Okay, so I know there are a hundred threads on this, but I need a few specific answers.

My May SAT scores: 690 CR, 680 M, 710 W. 1370/2080. Only prep I had was the practice problems and tests in the Blue Book. (My score range was all over the place in the Blue Book, some much lower than I ended up scoring officially, and some MUCH higher.)

I only want to take SATs one more time in October, and I NEED to bring up my scores. Aiming for 2200-2250+ this time.

My basic question is: What is the best way to increase these kinds of scores (~700) by 40 or 50 points?

Will I be okay working my way through Barron's 2400? If I get Barron's 2400, should I get a few workbooks or other books to go with it? Is it a better idea to get a PR tutor? Has anyone had experience with the PR Online course? The lessons on CB's Official SAT Online Course were a little too boring to ever keep my attention.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! I know some of you on here are geniuses!

What I just posted today in another thread:

Thanks! I'm typically not a huge fan of reading, but for the sake of my SAT scores, I might have to start!
