Great stuff… Anyone know the answers for the picture of the protein synthesis with rna and ribosomes.
@YoohooAddict The ribosome was the big ball outside the nucleus (was it 5?). It was also the structure with both protein and RNA. The hydrogen bond was 2 (pointing to the lines connecting the two strands of the double helix). The mRNA was the strand running through the nucleus and to the ribosome.
@mastersuperfan
How do we know that insects are decomposers of the tree? I know that it didn’t specify (because I was staring at that question like mad lol).
Also, the way antigen receptors work is that we have already produced several types of antigenic receptors (even without exposure to any antigens), but we’re not as effective at sensign a new one because of lack of memory cells (which can elicit the response quicker). An antigen can’t stimulate differing transcription of a genome (how can it? through what mechanism? not one i’ve heard of before)…
Each person has more than 1 million different B cells and 10 million different T cells, each with a particular antigen-binding specificity.
5 was the one on the bottom 3 was the one on top… I put 3 for one and 5 for the other. The other two questions with hydrogen bond and mrna I put the same.
Ribosome was 5 (so it’s both ribosome and RNA protein question), hydrogen bond was 2 (the one pointing to the rungs of the DNA) and mRNA was the thing feeding into the ribosome.
Does anyone know what the curve is going to be like? If it’s -3 for an 800, i already got two wrong (if the insect thing is wrong), which puts me on edge…
@richsmith I thought the exact same thing for the insect decomposes which is why I put the linear decrease but gaah I’m still not sure
I got 2 for the H bond, 5 for the Ribosome, and 6 for the protien/RNA thing (it was like the strand of mRNA linked to little circles which I assumed where AAs)
@otrastudying That was the polypeptide, not the mRNA.
insect was bell curve for sure lol nvm
Wasn’t the one about antibodies that the lymphocytes proliferate into effective and memory cells
Also what do you guys think the curve is going to be like what raw score for an 800
you know the question about the structure that contains both proteins and RNA? was it tRNA or ribosome?
Ribosome
@comeonmrtan Ribosome.
Turns out C is correct on the immune system question, which really angers me because my teacher gave a very detailed explanation, in which he said that it worked like it was mentioned in A.
I put 48 total…
@neehal120 I put the answer choice that was said the enzyme was incapable of producing the enzyme
I think I got it wrong though…
for the M version, the last lab question about the student’s breath and the limewater or something, what did you guys get?
@nytestguy The last one (best indicator that breath contains CO2) was the tube that turned cloudy in CO2, and the tube that turned cloudy when breathed on.
I don’t remember the other ones.
I hope the curve will be low because I missed a few already.
Isn’t the curve usually like -2?
