For the question about the male frogs chemical thing (with the graph) was it just that the amount of chemical didn’t affect the frogs displaying the trait (I forgot what it was)?
Ughhh hoping for a good curve

@otrastudying The chemical affected the frogs, but it was not proportional to dosage. If I am interpreting your comment correctly, then yes, you are correct.
Thank you thank you thank you @mastersuperfan yes aha that’s what I meant
Anyone know if the thyroid gland functions via negative feedback?
@brownaspirant yes it does thyroxine suppresses the activity of TSH and the hypothalamus when its levels are high
Do lobsters/arthropods have 3 pairs of walking legs, antenna, and an exoskeleton?
@mastersuperfan @neehal120 For the insect population and the calvin cycle questions, they both seemed ambiguous (the insect population graph depended on whether the insects rely on the living tree/leaves as its habitat or the decaying bark as its food source). Have you guys thought of contacting test specialists? The SAT’s Advising and admission handbook (https://collegereadiness.collegeboard.org/pdf/sat-2016-advising-admission-handbook.pdf) states that you can “contact Assessment Design and Development
at satquestion@info.collegeboard.org” with Test Question challenges if you believe there’s an error or ambiguity in one of the test questions. “The
student should include the test name and date,
test section, test question (as well as can be
remembered), an explanation of the concern, and
his or her mailing address.”
" Plants today use enzymes FROM the Calvin cycle for nonphotosynthetic functions" was an answer choice right? What this statement is saying is that enzyme for calvin cycle sometimes migrate away from calvin cycle to perform other reactions. This is why C is more reasonable, and not D
That question was silly, I chose light reactions evolved from calvin cycle
Yeah I felt the insect question was quite ambiguous because it was up to multiple interpretations
idk if this will help you guys but I missed AT LEAST 4 questions for sure and got an 800 for the May test (checked this morning).
that gives me hope omg thanks for sharing @pillowspillows
Hey @lunarboy, I took the May test too (Bio-M) and walked out thinking I wouldn’t get anything over 760. Checked yesterday, and I had an 800
Hi. Does anyone know the answer to the question about energy that was in the exam? I think was something like “from which if these can energy NOT be derived?” And one of the answers was fossilization
Also, there was this experiment-based question about a plant that grows on a tree, and the experiment was to check whether it depends on the tree or not, so they take length measurements from the plant grown on a real tree and an artificial tree
@thereandbackagain I remember both of those lol but I’m not sure what my answers were. I think I did put fossilization, and for the second one, I don’t remember what I put.
@pillowspillows That’s great! For clarification, do you mean you got 4 wrong, or did you skip 4? Either way, your score gives me hope! I’m nervously waiting for mine. I skipped 3 and got 1-2 wrong.
@girlwhoruns 4 wrong, i think youre good for an 800 or near 800
@pillowspillows do you think I can get at least a 760 with around 12 wrong? I checked with my friends and I got 12 wrong max. My friends aren’t too reliable either so idk if I actually got 12 wrong. It’s most likely less. But will 12 wrong at least result in a 760?
@gkdudtlffj the official study guide says you would get a 730 with 12 wrong, but The curve for this test could be a bit different.
