SAT Subject Test for US History vs. AP US History Exam

Hi everyone,

I’m currently enrolled in the AP United States History (APUSH) class, and am taking the AP exam next Friday (May 8). The exam is supposedly completely redesigned to be similar to the AP World History exam (which I got a 5 on last year) to be more conceptual and less factual. Our teacher and class have been pretty much left in the dark as to how accurate this speculation is and how to prepare for it, but I’m sure the overall curve will adjust for the changes. However, I’m also taking the SAT Subject Test for US History this Saturday (May 2) and I believe it is a more fact-based exam, like the previous APUSH exam. I’m wondering how I should study for both, since I’m on a time crunch, and the exams are supposed to be really different.

Thanks in advance!

*Note: I should probably mention that I’ve gotten As in the APUSH class, and scored 45/55 on the only practice exam we’ve taken, and done pretty well on the short answer/long essay practices that were integrated in the APUSH course. I am yet to prepare for the subject test.
