I am an international student currently in 12th grade and applying to GA Tech for the 2012 fall session. I have always been in the top tenth of the class and have a fair amount of extracurriculars.
The problem is my SAT score, it's just 1930 (1340 on Math and Verb). Therefore I thought about taking the SAT Subject Tests. I scored well on the mock tests I took (over 700 in Physics, Chem and Math 2). But GA Tech website states that they don't consider SAT Subject Tests for admission.

Do I give the SAT IIs anyway?? If I score well it's got to have some impression on them, or do they don't even look at the SAT II scores?

Cricketer - I can’t speak for GT Admissions but your only risk is the cost & time to take the tests - then send them along with your application. D has almost identical SAT I scores as you & has applied EA, awaiting a decision by Nov. 18th. She is applying for BIO and also sent her Bio & US History SAT subjects to admissions. When in doubt, throw something against the wall & see if it sticks Good Luck - we share the same birthday !!!

Thanks Sir.
I’ll send the application within the 15th December deadline for international students and the SAT II scores as and when they come.

they do not consider SAT2s. only for placement after admission. save your $$$.

Just take the SAT I again
