I heard a rumour that SAT Subject Tests will be deemphasized by the Ivy League and other top schools after the 2017 high school graduation year. Is there any truth to this?

I know that the Ivy League is deemphasizing test scores in general, and instead placing more focus on essays, extracurriculars, and academic record (mainly the rigor of the coursework). Whether they’re specifically changing their emphasis on the subject tests or not, I’m not aware
