SAT subject tests drop or take?

I am currently signed up to take three subject tests on June 4th. These are chem, us history, and math 2. I thought that I would be okay when I signed up for them, because I took ap’s this year in chem and us, and honors precalculus. I did really well in these classes too. I have since taken practice tests from the Barron’s book for all three and studied a little, but the results were around 650 in all three. I want to get at least a 750 on the tests, and I know that I could if I had more time to study. Should I waste a lot of money and not take them? Pick one and study a lot for it, hoping to raise my score, or take all three and see what happens?

Barrons for math II is much harder than the actual test, so as long as you keep working you should be fine for 750+. I would take math for sure (you can retake it and you’ve already paid), but if you feel like you would do better on either chem or history if you could focus on just one of them, then just take one and drop the other. I rember chem being very memorization focused, so cramming might work for that. You really don’t need more than two subject tests and if you want to study something STEM related you should take chem becuase some selective schools require one math and one science for STEM majors.
