My Math IIC score is 700, and my Physics is 750. How good is that for Cornell?

They’re fine Jimy. You’re viable – that’s all you can ask. Go enjoy life. Besides physically completing your apps, there’s nothing you can really do to alter your package. You’ll be fine. Next Sept, you’ll be at a great college. Don’t stress about the particulars. Good luck

Thanks for the help. Your words came when I was just about to lose my sanity, so they are highly appreciated !! :D

I’ve got two 740s in Math II and Physics. Would a retaking and raising my scores 20 or 30 points really help that much?

space: read post 1 and post 2. Deduce accordingly

Since the college I’m applying to at Cornell doesn’t require SAT scores, would a low score in a foreign language adversely affect me?

FuturePolymath, I believed you just answered your own question. If they do not require it, IT IS CONSIDERED SUPPLEMENTAL!!! Seriously, its ridiculous to see people freakkkk out over subject tests!!! Worry about the SAT1 guys, its much more impressive to see a very high SAT1 with OK/Decent subject tests (700ish) than for the situation to be reversed. Bear in mind that EVERYONE takes the same SAT1!!! With subject tests, someone fluent in a language could bag an easy 800 with no effort.

I got 800s on CR and W on the SAT I, and a 670 M. 1470 CR+M, 2270 all three.

Subject tests I took were Lit (760) and Math I (670… ugh). How much does the Cornell CAS weigh those subject test scores, specifically the math score? Should I be worried? Assuming I have a decently strong application overall. Not saying I do, but for the purposes of the question we’ll hope. :P
