SAT Summer Study Ideas?

Hi, it’s the summer and I’d like to get a head start studying for the SAT and ACT. I’m an upcoming junior and am on summer break right now. Any ideas on how I should start studying? Thanks.

My son is using Khan Academy. They break it up into short sessions that can be easily digestable

My son is also doing Khan Academy prep. He’s a rising junior, and is taking the SAT for the first time Aug 24th. He does 30 minutes of Khan Academy lessons a day, and also used the PWN the SAT Math Guide.

My daughter is also a rising junior taking the SAT Aug 24. She’s downloaded the College Board app for the “question of the day” and found another app that offers tips and lessons on the verbal end of things. This is in addition to Khan, and our school has a free test prep tool that’s linked to her Naviance account. She’ll be doing a mix of these for about 30 minutes a day.

Also, her school has optional math review work that she’ll do to both help with pre-calc next year and the SAT in August. Finally, we found the local community college has a course the week before the test, M-F, 9am-4pm for $250. My son took a similar prep class there that gave a lot of helpful tips and a lot of practice tests, so we signed her up for that as a last minute intensive. Good luck!
