If I can please steal 15 seconds of your time for a quick survey that I have to do.

Can everyone who is applying to top 25 schools according to the THES London Times Ranking please state the following?

The difference between your best one sitting SAT score and your best verbal+best math score.

I made a survey like this about 1 year ago, and the responses I got were 30-50 points. Most in the 50 point range. However, I realized that some students who only took the test once might have self selected themselves out of participating in this survey.

So can you answer this question even if you took the test only once? (just say zero in that case).

Once again, ** please state the difference in your SAT score between your best verbal + best math and your best one sitting SAT score** If you are planning on taking the SAT again, please do not answer. This question only applies to those who have finished their SAT test taking and is applying to top 25 schools according the THES or US News.

Mine was 50 points difference.

My one-sitting (new version) was 1510, and that's my highest composite, as well, my other score was a 1470 ... I think I'm done, but I'm not sure, so sorry if I mess up your survey

How do you differentiate old and new SAT?

no its ok Fireflyscout. Thanks for your participation.

Gigante, this would apply to the old SAT only. So just freshman who are matriculating this fall, and every year before. Because there has only been one administration of the new SAT everyone on the new SAT would only have a best one sitting score.

Also because of the significant restructuring of the new and old SAT, it would not be statistically accurate to use a best verbal + best math result mixing between old and new. Although an argument can be made for the SAT Math, the Verbal is far from being scientifically accurate because of the greater Verbal restructuring.

CB strategically balanced the old and new SAT so that the new verbal and new math would be similar to the old math and old verbal.

Mine won't help, really, i just got one old sat score

Old: 600V 610M
New: 610V 690M

Old SAT, taken once, so zero point difference.
