Hello,

I have taken 4 or 5 SAT prep courses in my high school career, and I know what teaching methods worked best for me. The best course I took was Kaplan, so I will mostly be using the Kaplan method in my teaching. I still have the Kaplan books I was given, so instead of paying $900 for a Kaplan course with only 8 classes in a classroom setting, you can get from me private tutoring with an unlimited number of hours with the Kaplan materials. I charge $25 an hour, which is a pretty good rate for private tutoring.

I have been tutoring and teaching in the classroom for 2 years at a weekend school in Boston. I attended a private prep school, were I graduated cum laude, and I am going to Brown in the fall. If you are in the Boston area (or in the suburbs of Needham, Wellesley, etc.) and you are interested in cheap, informal SAT tutoring, please email me at xingyue_wang@brown.edu. I'll be glad to hear from you.
