Probably not… you’re competing with Americans who have studied 1,2, or even 3 years of American History usually at the college level. You will have to get a textbook, or something more comprehensive than a review book. I recommend AMSCO http://www.amscopub.com/us-history-preparing-for-ap-exam , and it is frequently touted as the best prep book for APUSH/SAT USH. I would never expect a 780+ on a class I didn’t take… it is extremely difficult to get that score even after taking a class and doing well. Study for a few months and take many practice tests.
I’m also an international student, I’m cramming like crazy for the June test… Uhmm don’t know whats going to happen.
