Anyone know about SAT verbal vocaulary builders that are tapes or CD where you can listen in the car? We are going on a long car trip.

o my lord. sorry, i shouldn't judge, but comeon

skam...................

Nope, sorry

make your own tape.. get an SAT book with a huge vocab list, and read aloud while recording onto a tape.. then listen over and over again.. I wish I had thought of that when I was studying for the SAT..

I picked this up at Costco about 8 months ago for $25- it is done in such a ridiculous way using analogies, poems and diddies (Oh my gosh does she have an awful singing voice) that the vocabulary suprisingly sticks. My d is constantly in the car so it was a good educational use of her time.

I know Barnes and Noble has a vocabulary builder in the books on audio section, it was around $30 though.

lol stupid...but if you really want it...its not too much but for what's its worth ...www.defmind.com

I think I would cut my throat first (or S would do it for me)!

"The Princeton Review Word Smart CD" Package. I purchased this for my high school junior to listen to daily on the way to school and it was very enjoyable and he used several of the words in his SAT essay. You can "google" it or look it up on Amazon. I heard about it here from past posters.
