Hello,
Just wondering if anyone had used the book Programmed College Vocabulary by Feinstein to study for SAT Vocab.

Here's the URL for it on Amazon:

Programmed College Vocabulary (7th Edition): George W. Feinstein: 9780131487666: Amazon.com: Books

I can't find much info on it, and there are a paucity of reviews.
Apparently, it is a Pearson textbook.
I presume the "programmed approach" means you fill in the blanks over and over until mastery is achieved.

Anyone have any opinions on this?

Many thanks!

Wow…$84.79?!? That’s pricey as hell. I’d recommend the Direct Hits series. They’re fun reads and pretty helpful. I think Direct Hits is also one of the most recommended books on CC.

Here’s a link- don’t worry about the editions- they’re all so similar- it’s just the cultural references that the writer uses to help you memorize each definition that changes by year.

^Just out of curiosity, how much words has this book got?
