I am a junior and I need to take either the ACT and SAT this year. I hear there a lot of differences between the two. If I am a stronger History, English, and Language student, which test would be the better one for me to take? Or should I take both?

The general rule has always been that students who have higher verbal skills do better on the SAT. Students with a higher math aptitude preform better on the ACT.

However, you should take both: http://www.powerscore.com/sat/help/act_vs_sat.htm

Huh? I've never heard such a 'rule' but I agree, take both and use whichever one you like better.

btw: the 'Science' section on the ACT is anything but science. It's primarily reading and interpreting graphs and tables.

fwiw: if you don't fill in your HS code when you sign up for the ACT you and you alone will receive the score report.
