SAT vs ACT

My highest SAT is 740 math 750 reading 780 writing (2270)...but my subject test scores are 640 on math 2 and 690 on world history. I took them again today and immediately cancelled my scores because it was so bad. My highest ACT, however, is 35 reading 34 english 31 math 27 science (for a 32 overall). Which should I send to Penn?? I'm applying to CAS RD.

Why not retake the subject tests December?

i just think i won’t do well on them no matter what, based on how it went yesterday and my past performances

SAT! Just do what akgirl0 suggested.

So you don’t think I should retake the ACT?

You seem to be psyched out at this point regarding SAT subject tests. Not to be mean but I hope you have other choices. Try your best but if you can’t raise your scores maybe you can find a better fit for you.

Yeah, Penn isn’t even my top choice…it would just be nice to have it as an option

Oh sorry. I mean keep the SAT and retake the SAT II’s as Aaffda4 said. Sorry for the mistake.

Penn requires that you send all scores, so you should do that to avoid any troubles later.

like Tonguelewis said, you have to send in ALL your scores (even if you only do ACTs)…

Is it ALL scores or all scores from whichever you choose to send? I emailed the admissions rep but I think it’s just from whichever you choose to send, because on the website it says ACT or SAT and 2 SAT IIs. No matter what, I guess I will retake them in December. Thanks!

It’s ALL. SAT and ACT from all testing periods.

@akgirl0: It is ALL scores. If you’ve touched the ACT/SAT/SAT-II, you have to send it (from 9th-12th grade, that is).
