I took the ACTs in both september and december and I felt as if the september test was significantly easier I got a 23 both times, however i barley studied for the september test and did for the december test. I also scored significantly higher in practice tests for the ACTs in the red book and often scored in the high twenties low thirties. Should I stick with the ACT or try out the SAT. What are the major differences in material and is there some overlying material between both tests? Also, do they test SAT subject tests on the same days as the regular SAT test?

I would try the SAT. Some people do better on one or the other.
