SAT writing-Does Stanford look at it?

Hello people!
I just received my Dec SAT score. The total does not look so bad 2270. but the breakdown is what is worrying me (CR 700, Maths 770, Writing 800)
Is it true that colleges only look at CR and Maths combine? do they even care about the writing score?
and Stanford considers the highest score cross sitting right? will your chance be lowered if you took it three times?
Any response will be really appreciated and thanks so much!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Yes.

The only reason College Board added the writing section was because of Californian schools demanding it. I can’t imagine why they wouldn’t.

Stanford superscores, but I think they do consider a one-sitting advantage; assuming you got a 2300+ on your first try holds slightly more credibility than taking it 2 times to get that score; but honestly, take it as many times as you need to get the score you want. They aren’t going to value a 2270 one-sitting score over a 2300+ (with multiple tries)

Edit: I’m not implying that you NEED a 2300+ to get into Stanford

Sure doesn’t hurt, though. ; )

Thanks so much for your reply everyone! Have a great Christmas!
