<p>Hi, does Stanford weight the writing section of the SAT as much as they do the other sections? because at other schools admissions people have said that they don't (ex Colombia)</p>
<p>I'm asking because I've seen a lot of high SAT scores where the writing was really what raised them. People on this board are saying "you need a 2300" but I'm guessing they that really mean you need a 1520 or something on the CR+M?</p>
<p>and I hear Stanford isn't as snooty about standardized tests and scores, and cares more about essay and reccomendation.</p>
