SAT

so i bought in my first try 750 out of 1600 is it possibel to bring 1300-1400 on my next octobor try please anwser me i’d study 5 hours day until ocotbor

You can definitely bring your 750 up to the 1300 range. I must warn you that it takes extraordinary discipline, you have to put in the work. Start with an hour a day here and there and increase the time the closer October comes. I’d suggest using Khan academy and Uworld for practice. Khan academy also has 8 full length SAT practice tests to help you out.
Best of Luck

Here’s the thing: prep for the SAT is a lot like losing weight. It sounds easy in the beginning-- lots of will power and discipline. But as the days and weeks go by, that will power can slip a bit.

Here’s what I suggest: forget 5 hours a day; it’s not going to happen.

Instead, promise, really promise yourself 10 or 12 hours a week over the summer.

Get the Barrons book. At the end of each test, there’s a grid that shows you which topics correlate to which problems; highlight the numbers you’ve gotten wrong on each practice test and keep track of which topics are giving you difficulty-- that will show you where to focus.

Next, get the book Up Your Score, the Insider’s Guide to the SAT. It was written by 5 kids who got perfect scores, and it’s all about strategies, not practice problems. I have to warn you: they try VERY hard to be cutesy and trendy. But the strategies are solid.

Khan Academy is also a great resource, there are many free resources on the web. 5 hours a day every day is a lot to do, I would recommend creating a study schedule. Some students prefer working on one subject a day while others like to tackle smaller sections but multiple subjects. Also, try and identify what you missed, was it timing, or did you miss a topic in math, was it the style of the question, etc.
