SAT1 Verbal Compilation

Yea!

I think that was for impasse : progress analogy, where both of the first parts directly prevent the second parts.

If you ask why he would include humor: to make it more interesting. The "gross" part was not the only humor. "Plan A" (pack up their things and call it a night) also seemed to be intended to evince a laugh.

Anyone remember any questions from the jewelry reading? It was tricky

I remember a question having to do with the purpose of guilds.
Some of the choices were...
"go back to medieval ages"
"practice beliefs"
"manufacture jewelry"

that's not the exact wording.

The first 2 ring a bell. What was the "manufature jewelry" one if you can remember?

Also, what do you think the curve will be for verbal? Was this month's considered difficult?

AlexMartin,
I believe I put practice beliefs.

I put practical means of practicing their ideals or something

Does anyone remember putting ineffective marketing strategy for one of the jewelry questions? ( Might have been the last).
I got indifferent for the author's attitude towards the man. No way it could be critical.

i thought the chimps were "uninfluenced by each other" as the barrier question.
Anyone agree?

some answers to jewelry i think are(only 6 questions i think)

"practice beliefs"
"natural images"
"did not market effectively"

there was a question about what the mass-produced and the guild people had in common

one answer was make "cost affordable" but I don't think that was the answer

Oh, I got practical means of acheiving their ideals.

hey that rings a bell. i think i put that. does that replace "practice beliefs" or did "practice beliefs" not even exist as an answer?

No, it was cost affordable. I am sure it was.

Yeah.. I got practical means..

And yeah.. I think I had ineffective means of advertising. I was extremely uncomfortable on that one though, so I might have changed it. They never really meant to go sell it. They weren't looking for an effective strategy. But, I probably didn't change it, as all of the other choices seemed wrong.

**Yes, I had cost affordable.. My God I've been posting on here a lot lately.

i might have put cost affordable i just don't remember the answers. I guess it's a good sign if that's the only one I can remember.

I am quite sure about the marketing question. The passage said something to the effect of " Although the producers were unable to market the jewelery to their costumers"

I hated the jewelry section. I thought the questions were really hard.

Yeah, I probably did choose bad advertising, and it probably is right. I dunno.. It just seemed like the author was speaking from his perspective there.

I put ineffective marketing as well

Oh, and I got that the Korean lady admired the momuments becuse they lasted.
She viewe the Haliblologu ( or whatever its called) with esteem.
