SATII Chem Curve

Anyone know what the curve was for the Chemistry SATII? Ex:
-5/800
-6/770
-7/720
etc.

bump bump bump

BTW, how do PR and Barron's tests compare to the actual test?

i think the last test on PR is pretty close to the actual test in oct. its so tough

I think a few questions (like 2 or 3) wrong gets you an 800.

How are the Barron's tests compared to the actual test then? And do you really need to know things like the activity series and heat of vaporization for water?

Yes, but on Barrons you can get like 5 or 6 wrong and still get 800.

Well, I meant how realistic are Barron's test questions compared to the actual test?

I thought the Barron's tests were pretty ridiculous. I tried one and ended up with about a 600 (this was about a week before my acutal chem SAT, which I ended up getting a 780 on).

I thought the Barron's was pretty easy..lol

hey, need serious help, my SAT II's in a wk and I just started prepping >< I did the Barron's tests and did well 750ish....BUT on Sparknotes i ended up w/600?! Anyone else been through this? Should i prep w/ Barrons or Sparknotes?

I have both Barron's and PR and I'm almost done with the Barron's review material, but I'm not sure if I'll have time to go through all of PR. Is everything in PR covered in Barron's (I'll be taking practice tests in both books) or does PR contain a lot of material not covered in Barron's that will be on the actual test?

"I did the Barron's tests and did well 750ish....BUT on Sparknotes i ended up w/600?"

Are you sure it wasn't the other way around?

"I did the Barron's tests and did well 750ish....BUT on Sparknotes i ended up w/600?"

did u see the answer first??

no I didn't.

anyone else have this problem?

no! i didn't see the answers...seriously, Barron's I got consistently 750ish..but for my spk test, I got 680 and then...600...wah..

Haha. Maybe I wasn't taking the test properly when I used Barron's. It had a diagram that i had NEVER seen before so I got 5 questions wrong right then and there. I relied more on PR.
