I'm an IB student so i've never taken chinese as an AP course or wtv. I only know what the SATII chinese will generally be like from the sample questions provided by college board online. I can kind of do them well, but I would like more practice questions. Would AP books be alright? or are they really different in difficulty? I tried finding SATII chinese books but they don't seem to publish any anymore. Anyone have recommendations?

There are the sat study guides put out by the collegeboard that include one previous test. Aside from that, though, I cant find any ones put out by the usual companies (ie Barron’s or Princeton review). Although I cant speak from experience, I can tell you that the ap book is language and culture, whereas the sat tests only language abilities. I took some practice problems for the sat the other day, and I’m pretty sure that the test didnt need a fourth level course (my mom is Taiwanese, so I have elementary speaking and pinyin skills, but almost completely lack the ability to read), as is reccomended for the ap. All in all, the ap book will contain excessive and unneeded info. But if you’re desperate for a book from a major test prep company, the ap book is your best bet. (Or you could buy one of those sketchy looking books on amazon…)
