For those of you who took the Spanish Language SAT II - Which study guides did you find helpful and why?
Were there any study guides you did not like?
Any advice for preparing for the October exam?

....bump....

I got princeton's review. I covered all of it in two days and it got me the score that i wanted: 680

It had some nice little grammatical and vocabulary pitfalls that showed up on the test. Reading the book got me at least 10 questions on the test.

The practice tests were also similar to the actual test. I got a 700 and 690 on the mock exams.

One thing the book said incorrectly was that there would NOT be more than 6 reading passages in the test. What happended was that the actual test had around 10 passages/ads that were shorter. So be prepared for a lot of short reading passages on the sat ii.

I had an awesome teacher so I just reviewed old tests, vocab, notes and stuff, and I pulled a 660. So I was happy. If you want you could get Barrons AP Spanish language guide, it helped me on the AP test (I think- waiting for proof from the score), but it would help you on the SAT IIs. It just has some extra sections that aren't covered on the SAT IIs but are on the AP test. Good luck!

Any other advice for preparing for the Spanish SATII?
How hard is it to get over 700?
