I was wondering if people could tell the best book is to prepare for the Spanish SAT II. I am taking them in two weeks and currently in AP SPANISH. Also if you took the test, what book did you use, and what was your score?
Thanks!

I never took AP Spanish (only up to Spanish III), but I figured that I knew enough to take the test. I'm not a native speaker, but I'm always surrounded by the language (music, TV, magazines, etc.) I got a 730. Barron's was OK. There were a few errors here and there in the review section. But you should be able to point them out. It did help me. I got a 650 on the Real SAT IIs Spanish test before using that book.

It's easier than the AP, so if youre in the AP class you should do fine.

I used kaplan's, and got around a 700 and i was in AP

All the seniors in my class took AP Spanish at the beginning of the year as well.. all of them recieved 800s.

Please note though:
- 2 outta the 4 were born in Spanish speaking countries
- 1 outta the 4 wasn't born in a spanish speaking country but spoke spanish @ home
- the other one was a black girl and she's stuck through spanish over the year, and with the help of the other spanish people like myself in the class, she's become very fluent in spanish with almost no accent what-so-ever.

It's all multiple choice, the only thing is know how to conjugate verbs and when to use the right conjugation. Aside from that, the skills you've picked up since Spanish 1 should suffice. (Also, I'm assuming that you can't just go and say I want AP spanish in your school; you need to be recommened by your teacher for the class, correct?)

I got 800 SAT II Spanish and 5 on AP test (my essay stopped in the middle). So, IMO, it's incredibly easy like Math IIC (in terms of, if you know your stuff, it's a joke).
