I'm a student APUSH and I do well...but I can't seem to get really good scores for the SATII.

Over the past week, my only preparation has been doing one practice test a day...and I haven't been doing great after a year of studying AP material.

Scores were: 750, 750, 700, 720, 730, 740

Those are from Kaplan's 2007-2008, the actual Collegeboard book of SATII Subject Tests, and Sparknotes 2006.

If I keep working at it, do you think I can get an 800? I'm averaging about 12-16 wrong each test and I usually don't omit. =

Good luck to all.

Those are really good scores... I don't know what you're complaining about, i'd take those scores. Also, if you're saying you don't omit, maybe you should so it won't bring your score down as much for a couple of them you're unsure of. The SAT II is a little different than the ap test from what i've seen. It seems to be a little more detailed and the types of questions are not a straightforward as well. If you practice, i'm sure you'll be able to do well on test day. Also, besides doing practice tests, if you're unsure on a certain era or time period you should review it again. I'm taking the SAT II for US History this Saturday and I hope I do well. Good luck! :)
